HD Buttercup's Downtown Home Decor Mecca Arrives in the Arts District This Saturday

Downtown's home decor department has yet to enjoy the same boom as, say, its healthy groceries scene, and those swanky Arts District pads aren't going to furnish themselves. HD Buttercup hopes to tend to DTLA's underserved dwellers, and we now have the exact coordinates and opening date for that massive home furnishings mecca (its third permanent SoCal outpost) that's expected to open this month.

Slated to debut this Saturday, the 30,000-square-foot, two-story space is landing across from Bestia, just a few blocks south of buzzing mixed-use development One Santa Fe. It'll boast an exclusive mix of modern and vintage furniture, seating, rugs, lighting, tabletop accessories, decor, and many more goods for an array of interior design styles, and merch will be primarily sourced from design-driven Italian brands.

The second floor will house a salon-style shopping experience dreamed up by Berlin-baed gallerist Michael Fuchs, while the third floor will house the legendary retailer's corporate HQ. There'll be a host of winter wonderland-inspired festivities slated on opening day from 12 to 3pm; stay tuned for more.

HD Buttercup will be open daily from 11am to 7pm.
