LA's Five Most Influential Tastemakers of 2015

As we close out another successful year in the world of LA fashion and retail, this week we're toasting our city's buzziest places, people, and moments in our Best of 2015 series. Onward!

Although Los Angeles is home to tons of international celebrities, there are a handful of local talents who have also crossed over to global success. Some are household names, some are best-kept secrets, all are single-handedly influencing the way we eat, dress, and live. Here are the five LA girls who ran the world for the last 12 months.

WhoAmanda Chantal Bacon
Why: The founder of popular juice bar Moon Juice is a mystic hippie mainstay. Thanks to high praise from the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Vogue, fans follow her every move, from taking "crystal showers" to eating Sex Bark.

WhoCaroline Vreeland
Why: Earlier this year, we crowned this blue-eyed bombshell Fashion's Next Muse. In addition to being the great-granddaughter of the late and legendary Vogue editor Diana Vreeland, Caroline is also a successful model (that's her with the one and only Carine Roitfeld above), sultry singer, and carb lover, aka a girl after our own hearts.

WhoJenni Kayne
Why: It's no secret that this designer/interior guru is one of our eternal girl crushes. Besides creating beautiful clothing and footwear, her blog Rip&Tan is filled with stunning home decor, health, entertainment, and overall lifestyle inspiration. What we're trying to say is that we want to live in JK's world all day, every day.

WhoJulie Sarinana
Why: LA is filled with big-time blogstars, but Julie is on another level. The Sincerely, Jules founder has a whopping three million followers on Instagram, all of which hang onto her every word when it comes to travel, beauty, fashion, food, fitness, and flowers. So many flowers.

WhoKylie Jenner
Why: Hey, Kim Karadashian: we're gonna let you finish, but Kylie Jenner had the best 2015 of all time. Hate her or love her, the reality star has been busy scoring major magazine covers (most recently Elle UK), launching her own app, debuting a sold-out beauty linedressing cool, and being unapologetically bold because she clearly doesn't GAF.
