Behind every incredibly chic celebrity is an equally inspiring stylist. Being in the epicenter of Hollywood means that our city breeds new, up-and-coming star dressers on the daily, offering both A-listers and indie muses tons of visionaries to choose from. From the mastermind behind KenGi to the reigning queen of cool-girl pregnancy looks, here are the five superstylists who slayed this year.
Who: Maeve Reilly
Why: Janelle Monáe's go-to girl is a red carpet rockstar. When she's not creating best-dressed magic for her many clients, you can find Reilly being an Insta babe in her own right, offering fans a taste of her edgy, unapologetically style.
Who: Monica Rose
Why: We've been cheering Rose on since 2012, when we crowned her daughter Alaia as LA's most stylish tot. The working mama has since built her own mini empire, which includes various capsule collections and dressing all of the Kardashian-Jenner girls. We're particularly obsessed with her sleek and sophisticated transformations of Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid (aka KenGi).
Who: Jamie Schneider
Why: This LA talent's impressive clients—Nicole Richie, Kate Hudson, Katy Perry, Erin Foster, and Ashley Benz—also happen to be her good friends, which is why Schneider's Instagram feed reads like the coolest hangout you've never been invited to.
Who: Bartoli Style
Why: Although stunning Chloe and Marie-Lou Bartoli are the perfect models for their badass, choker-loving looks, these sisters also work with actual supermodels, including loyal client Miranda Kerr.
Who: Anita Patrickson
Why: A self-proclaimed travel junkie, Patrickson takes her 37k+ Instagram followers around the world with her, offering a glimpse inside her very charmed life. Her latest claim to fame is expertly dressing Chrissy Teigen's adorable baby bump, ditching pregnancy-style mainstays like empire-waist dresses for hot bodycon numbers balanced with long jackets.
