In addition to Drizzy-designed sweatpants, LA streetwear's scene has scored a paradise for lid lovers. Skate-inspired headwear brand Official Crown of Laurel (simply known as Official) has opened its first flagship on Melrose Avenue, just a few blocks east from Tyga's Last Kings shop and not far from streetwear mecca Fairfax Avenue.
Fitting snapback fiends as of today, the 800-square-foot shop stocks the apparel and accessories brand's full seasonal collections, limited-edition collabs, and quickstrike releases, including that range with Snoop Dogg, its line of custom wide-brimmed hats made from vintage designer bags, backpacks and skate bags, tees, and more. The space also features "conscientious and creative" design touches, like shelving and furniture crafted from repurposed plywood by Washington-based rePLY Furniture.
Official is open Monday through Saturday from 11am to 7pm and Sunday from 12 to 6pm.
