We were decidedly bummed when avant-garde boutique Weltenbuerger closed this summer, but thankfully an indie label supporting shop has sprung up in its place. We're psyched to see that BellJar, which has a successful sister store in SF's Mission District, is stocking local makers like Dream Collective and Mt Washington Pottery on its shelves and now Vermont Avenue's coolest new addition will be highlighting the talents of two more LA-based brands we love: Jujumade and Lykke Wulff.

BellJar hosts a trunk show featuring both lines this Saturday from 2-7pm, just in time for a little last minute holiday shopping. Peruse Jujumade's chic-but-playful ceramic and leather accessories (Solange is a fan of stacking the bangles) and Lykke Wullf's cool-chick casual gear (the overalls are crucial) during the holiday themed event, which also offers shoppers music courtesy of Honey Power's Mukta Mohan, festive treats, and plenty of bubbly for sippin'. Additionally, Belljar will be raffling off gift certificates for both brands as well as the store itself, so if you win you totally deserve to get yourself something rad— especially after your mom gifts you that top you'll never wear.
