ARTS DISTRICT—Inspiring jewelry brand The Giving Keys, a company that employs those transitioning out of homelessness to create its repurposed key pieces, wants to thank patrons and supporters in the community for making this such a successful year. This Friday, founder Caitlin Crosby holds the annual Keys & Carols holiday party at Unique Space (1275 E 6th Street) from 7-11pm. The free event offers complimentary engraving (so you can customize your own piece), live music by local artists, bites by Bang Bang and Super Smash Buns, and a bevy of beverage options. The charitable brand also asks guests to bring an unwrapped gift the festive fiesta to benefit another cause, Project Peacmakers. RVSP here to attend.
SANTA MONICA—The sustainable, handcrafted jewelry by Brooklyn's Blair Lauren Brown will take center stage at Love Adorned (2329 Main Street) this Wednesday during a chic trunk show. The alternative bride faved brand will be bringing along some stunning pieces, like those flecked with raw, uncut diamonds or decorated with pure gold nuggets. One attendee to this sparkly soiree, which takes place from 5-8pm, will even find one of those aforementioned nuggets in their glass of complimentary bubbly, which means she'll win her very own customized piece.
