Last year, we revealed that Michael Stars planned on bringing its Cali-cool staples to a new Melrose Avenue retail complex in the La Cienega Design Quarter this fall. The LA-based brand—which recently opened a new shop at The Point—tells us it has "decided not to move forward with that location because construction was taking much longer than anticipated," and that they're eyeing other potential locations for its seventh SoCal boutique.
About that mini shopping center: it's located at N. West Knoll Avenue next door to Rag & Bone and across the street from Urth Caffe. The two-tenant development's 1,000-square-foot and 2,000-square-foot spaces are now up for grabs; stay tuned for more.
