Eastside Handmade's Indie Marketplace Returns to Highland Park This Weekend

Eastside Handmade

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

If the H&M x Balmain insanity has you feeling all shades of cynicism and despair from consumerist America's rabidness over mass-produced goods (or something), perhaps this weekend's Eastside Handmade will prove there's still love for local makers. This Saturday, the outdoor indie marketplace once again invades Shopclass for its holiday sesh.

Happening from 11am to 5pm, expect over 40 designers, artists, ceramists, and more local makers. A few stylish highlights include geometric gems by Tiffany Kunz and Delusions of Grandeur, ceramics by Mt. Washington Pottery, mystic accoutrements from Chaparral Studio, men's accessories by Gold Coast Goods, textiles by Cotton & Flax, and much more. Plus, Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams will be on hand serving cold treats; take a peek at the rest of the roster here.
