Given than LA is filled with both on-demand beauty services and food trucks, it was only a matter of time before a company found a clever way to combine the two. Enter Colvon Mobile Nail Salon, a whimsically-designed vehicle that is set to travel across Los Angeles to offices, residential complexes, local hot spots, and events to offer nail polish applications and more to busy customers who want convenience at their fingertips.
"By meeting you where you are, we save you time and energy while offering the same luxury and top quality services as a brick and mortar salon," explains the brand. Founded by Emily Christina and in collaboration with interior design service Havenly, the mobile truck's interior includes Art Deco-inspired black and white patterns along with pops of pale pink and gold. Here we discovered that the exterior features custom graphics by local graphic designer Michelle Hanabusa.
Express services can be completed in as quick as 30 minutes, and services set to be offered include manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, and acrylics. Brands expected to be used include OPI, CND, Shellac, Essie, Young Nails, Vetro, and Presto. "The salon also offers natural and vegan options, including Bioseaweed and Ella + Mila," the page reveals.
See the truck in full below and get ready for Colvon Mobile Nail Salon's official launch on Monday, November 16th.
