There's a long line of fashionable fitness brands looking to dethrone Lululemon—including Sweaty Betty, the British activewear label that's invading the West Coast soon. As we revealed last month, its first-ever LA shop is opening on Abbot Kinney, and the brand now tells us the boutique is expected to open Friday, November 20th.
Landing just a few doors away from Rag & Bone, the space will blend both the seaside vibes of both the Atlantic and Pacific Coasts with beach-inspired decor touches, wood and metal fixtures, and art highlighting English landscapes. The shop will also house a "Zen Den" outside patio decked out with a custom graffiti wall by an LA artist. Alongside its Euro-cool fitness apparel and gear (running tops are $50 and up, sports bras are in the $65 range, and leggings start at $85) the boutique will offer skateboard, surfboard, and bike rentals, plus a fit club offering workout events and more.
Sweaty Betty will be open daily from 11am to 7pm.
