Although MiA Project settled into first brick-and-mortar digs earlier this year, it's returning to its old ways with a pop-up at another USA-devoted shop. Starting this week, the indie retailer is bringing two rising LA footwear brands to Detroit-based brand Shinola's Silver Lake boutique as part of its Maker's Month series.
This Friday through Sunday, Young Guns designers Wal and Pai's avant-garde leather boots, sandals, and heels will hold court at the store, followed by edgy-cool brand The Palantines's minimalist flats, slip-ons, and more next Friday, November 13th through Sunday, November 15th.
To toast its resident local talents, Shinola's throwing a swanky cocktail party tomorrow, November 5th from 7 to 9pm. Gratis drinks, bites, and music will be in the mix; join the list by emailing RSVP_LA@shinola.com.
