Base Color Bar Brings Touch Up-Only Hair Services to Brentwood

Given that there's an à la carte beauty shop for nearly every service under the sun (blowouts! laser facials! makeup!) we're a bit baffled that it's taken this long for a color-only hair salon to hit the scene. Enter Base Color Bar, a budget-friendly hair studio that recently arrived on San Vicente Boulevard in Brentwood.

Founded by Fekkai-trained hair stylist Haleh Lekkos, the stylish no-cuts salon will get rid of your roots for under $60. Base color services are $40 for men and $49 for women (there's also an ammonia-free option for $59), and the menu also offers blow outs ($35) and gloss/toner and power shot treatments ($20).
