Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

One of our favorite indie marketplaces, the inspiring Echo Park Craft Fair, returning to Mack Sennett Studios in Silver Lake on Saturday, December 12th and Sunday, December 13th. Taking place from 10am to 6pm on both days, we hear that the $10 event will be bigger and better to ensure that locals have mounds of holiday gifting options.

EPCF founders and LA designers Beatrice Valenzuela and Rachel Craven tell us that there will be "nearly 100 high-quality, carefully curated, arts and food vendors," in addition to "nearly two dozen brand new artists, designers, and makers," including our mystic hippie friend Shiva Rose. (Shoppers can explore these new additions at an artist space that will be housed on Mack Sennett's second stage.)

For foodies and home gurus, the outdoor marketplace will feature culinary essentials from Gorumando, rad plants from The Cactus Store, artisanal bites from Sqirl, refreshments by Moon Juice, kombucha by Health Ade, and yes, Alejandra's famous handmade blue corn quesadillas.
