Absolut Is Now Dealing Art by Miranda July and More Fashion-Faved LA Artists

Absolut Art

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Absolut isn't satisfied with simply fueling fashionable festivities—it wants to dress the walls of stylish abodes, too. Taking a cue from record label-turned-airline Virgin and kicks-brand-turned-music studio Converse, the LA-loving vodka brand is venturing outside of the bar cart with Absolut Art, a shoppable online art gallery that launched earlier this week.

The e-commerce site features limited-edition prints, photography, illustrations, and more works from over 70 artists hailing from Los Angeles and Stockholm. Collectors can snap up signed and framed pieces—mostly in the $250 to $500 range—by artsy multi-hyphenate Miranda July, fashion-faved illustrators and Instagram stars Carly Kuhn and Jeanette Getrost, graphic artist Fay Ray, trippy cartoonist Ben Jones, and more. Take a peek at all of the offerings here.
