No judgement here if you ditch SoulCycle tonight—you'll get your workout at the DTLA's dizzying sale sitch, which includes Jenni Kayne's two-day sample sale. We swung by our girl crush's friends and family event after hitting up 3.1 Phillip Lim's preview last night and were greeted by tons of autumn-ready sweaters and, yes, D'Orsay flats.
Compared to the last sale, discounts weren't as deep on some items—everything from the LA designer's apparel line was marked down to 65% off and it was more or less the same inventory, but more sweaters and outerwear. Regardless, there are still some very good deals to be found; you'll be walking away with a pair of D'Orsays for about $170 (regularly $495), comfy knit sweaters and cashmere tops for $170, outerwear (including a trench coat with a removable fur collar) for under $350, and sleek basics for under $40.
We also found that there's more merchandise from third-party brands marked down to 40% to 55% off; expect to score Acne Studios tees for $70, Proenza Schouler bags for around $700, and 3x1 denim for $88. There are five tables of home goods priced at 30 to 50% off, including apothecary items from Diptyque and Santa Maria Novella, enamel tableware and bakeware from Falcon, fashion tomes and cookbooks, and more. Not as much holiday decor and table linens as last time, and no kids clothes and accessories, either.
Staff tells us inventory will be restocked and that discounts apply to the lowest ticketed price; at the last sale, we noticed that there were additional markdowns during the sale's final hours and we expect the same last-day deals to return. Scope out the rest of the goods and pricing in the gallery above.
