Like they say, beauty comes from the inside—but let's get real: Angelenos certainly don't mind a little help from their knife- and needle-wielding friends. The same goes for LA's malls, and now, it's time for the Beverly Center to shine from the outside. After enjoying tons of recent directory upgrades, it looks like '80s-built behemoth is finally (!!!) ready for that fashionable facelift that's supposedly been in the works.

A trusted tipster confirms that eight-story mall's renovations are indeed set to happen sometime soon, although a price tag and timeline have yet to be revealed. As our sister site Curbed noted three years back, modern Italian design firm Studio Fuksas was selected to dream up the buzzing shopping center's major makeover.

Property owner Taubman Corporate has yet to officially announce the Beverly Center's grand reno plans; stay tuned for more!
