Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
If you've already taken all the Instagrams at The Broad in DTLA and LACMA's Rain Room, make your way to Vernon (yes, Vernon), to capture more inspiring images for your FOMO-inducing feed. After a one-month run, Australian husband-and-wife artists Dabs and Myla (better known as DABSMYLA) will soon be packing up their vibrant takeover of Modernica's 4,000-square-foot factory.
Local blog LAist has tons of photos of the colorful, cartoon-like space, adding that the unique "Before & Further" exhibit "is like a magical playground, where you feel like you're inside the artists' whimsical world." We couldn't agree more.
Charge up your phone battery and stop by today through Sunday, November 15th from 12pm to 7pm.
