Grow Market Is a 'Mini Whole Foods' In DTLA's Arts District

Although a 41,000-square-foot Whole Foods is set to open any day now on South Grand Avenue, Downtowners recently scored a smaller-scale version of the health-minded grocer in the form of Grow Market.

Recently opened at the One Santa Fe mixed-user where Wittmore and Cafe Gratitude reside, the 5,300-square-foot shop features a clean atmosphere, organic fruits and veggies, a deli, bulk bins, wine, beer, and more, saving locals from embarking on a hike for high-quality groceries.

Of course, the convenience comes at a cost. DTLA blogger Brigham Yen notes that Grow Market feels like "a mini Whole Foods (with high prices to match)."

Grow Market DTLA is open Monday through Saturday from 8am to 10pm and Sunday from 9am to 8pm.
