After announcing plans to embark on an extensive expansion across California, Yogasmoga opened a spacious shop on Dayton Way in Beverly Hills. The space features all of the NY-based yoga-inspired apparel company's eco-friendly, reasonably-priced workout gear (leggings start at $96, tanks at $46, shorts at $54, and sports bras at $49), in addition to a community space where free yoga classes are offered. Sound familiar?
Yes, Yogasmoga is taking on the brave feat of competiting with wildly popular Lululemon, and has no problem letting the world know about the comparison. (The brand's pitch to us for instance, notes that they've "been called a challenger to Lululemon.")
Next up for Yogasmoga's takeover is a store at Malibu Country Mart, set to open this November and expected to feature the brand's complete line of USA-made men's and women's workout gear. We'll keep you posted on progress.
Yogasmoga Malibu will be open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 7pm, and Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
