See Kelly Wearstler's Gorgeous Design For LA's Most Stylish New Restaurant

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

While we've been crushing on Kelly Weastler's eclectic aesthetic for years, it's nice to see that big businesses are finally catching on to the LA-based fashion and interiors guru's unique talent. In addition to being commissioned by Westfield Century City to create an artistic atmosphere as part of its multi-million dollar makeover, Wearstler has been tapped by new Beverly Hills eatery Viviane to create the ideal vibe. As expected, the results are stunning.

Our sister site Eater LA reveals a first look at the resturant, which lives inside Avalon Hotel and offering "a classic American and Continental bent on the menu" helmed by chef Michael Hung.

Design highlights include "handcrafted oak tables, wood-brass dining chairs, and gilded lounge chairs," in addition to vibrant pops of color and the above wall that is sure to become the spot to Instagram. See more photos here and stop by soon.
