LA got lucky when it nabbed America's very first COS store before NYC, but the same isn't true for H&M's other stylish spinoff. Now on its third Big Apple outpost, the Swedish fast fashion chain is finally (!!!) bringing its much-hyped upscale sister label & Other Stories to the West Coast, a trusted tipster tells us.
The two-time Clare Vivier collaborator is supposedly landing fall 2016 at luxe OC shopping center South Coast Plaza (where COS is also headed)—not quite LA proper, but we'll take it. Similar to its NYC shops, expect the space to be massive, organized by trend, and well-stocked with footwear, beauty, and apothecary products.
We've reached out to South Coast Plaza and & Other Stories for more deets; stay tuned!
Update, 10/5: & Other Stories tells us that "it's no secret that we...love the Los Angeles vibe. We have done a good share of photoshoots in California and we've worked together with great fashion influencers from LA, like designer Clare Vivier and stylist Bea Åkerlund. It would be a dream to open a store on the West Coast, but as for now we won't be able to share any news."
