After first landing in LA by way of Larchmont three years ago, body and skincare brand Malin + Goetz is opening not just one, but two new apothecaries in our city this year. In addition to that DTLA Arts District store, the sleek label slyly opened a boutique last month in Santa Monica.
Located on once-ailing (and now very buzzing) Montana Avenue in "a charming neo-Colonial white clapboard structure," the shop stocks founders Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz's line of unisex products, like the award-winning firm hold gel, natural skincare, body wash, and more.
As far as that outpost in DTLA's One Santa Fe, the 300-square-foot contemporary space will feature "a serpentine shelving system" inspired by "the new energy that abounds in the neighborhood." It's slated to open "in the coming weeks," meaning very, very soon.
Malin + Goetz is open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 7pm and Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
