Bicoastal style and interior design aficionados may be familiar with The Apartment by The Line, a swanky NYC concept boutique inhabited by an imaginary woman "who appreciates a finely tailored jacket as much as a bespoke velvet sofa." The abode-like shop brings its SoHo vibes to Melrose Place, where it officially opens its doors today.
Founded by superstar stylist Vanessa Traina Snow and creative director Melanie Glass the dreamy second-story space is designed to look like a minimalist-cool home. The Apartment by The Line (no relation to K-Town's The Line Hotel) is completely shoppable, from its Taschen and Assouline coffee table books to the Coutu toothpaste to the mid-century modern-inspired seating to whatever's in the wardrobe.
From the closet, discover sleek clothing by Proenza Schouler, Acne Studios, Calvin Klein, Protagonist, and more luxe labels; hats by Albertus Swanepoel; footwear by Tabitha Simmons, Robert Clergerie, and Riudavets; leather carryalls by Agnes Baddoo, and so much more.
The Apartment also welcomes private appointments, which include personal styling and interior design services, furniture customization, wedding and gift registries, and more. Explore the rest of the inspiring boutique—which boasts clear views of Nine Zero One Salon—in the gallery above and swing by Tuesday through Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
