Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
If you're already planning a DTLA retail therapy excursion this weekend, consider rolling through this Sunday's CicLAvia. The bike-, skate- and pedestrian-friendly event's Heart of LA route invades a host of shoppable nabes, including ShopWalk haunt Historic Core, Little Tokyo, the Arts District, and more.
Rolling from 9am to 4pm, the six-mile route rides through West 7th Street, Spring Street, North Broadway, and West 1st/Central/4th Street—so consider this a PSA to expect some road closures if your Downtown play date involves a car. Check out the full map and all the need-to-know deets here.
