ECHO PARK—You can count on Myrtle (2313 Sunset Boulevard) to carry all the irresistibly cute/cool pieces you NEED.RIGHT.NOW. (we're currently coveting that Rachel Antonoff "Reproductive System" sweatshirt). This Thursday two of the shop's best-loved brands are stopping by for a trunk show sure to be stocked with whimsical gear we'll want to wear ASAP. NYC-based designers Samantha Pleet and Hannah Kristina Metz will be in attendance for the 5-9pm event, offering a special selection of their collections. Because shop owner Whitney Bickers wouldn't dream of letting guests go thirsty, special sips will also be on hand.
FAIRFAX—Detox guru Kimberly Snyder and her juice bar Glow Bio (7473 Melrose Avenue)—which we worship regularly—will be hosting a trunk show for sustainable jewelry line (and may we add 2014 CFDA Lexus Eco Fashion Challenge Winner) K/ller Collection this Thursday. During the 5-8pm event, designer Katie Deguzman will stop by to show off the brand's edgy, androgynous pieces. In addition to saving 15% on any jewelry purchases, guests can take 10% off any cleanse products purchased—just tell 'em we sent you.
