LA's Huf Salutes '80s Art Star Patrick Nagel With Epic Collab

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

If you've ever stepped inside of an old-school nail salon, chances are that you've stumbled upon one of Patrick Nagel's iconic graphics. Known as one of the leading forces behind 20th century American illustration and graphic design, Nagel has worked with everyone from Duran Duran to Playboy. The late artist's (he passed away in Santa Monica on February 4, 1984) latest collaboration is with local skate lifestyle label Huf, who worked with the estate to create a range of gear that salutes his legacy.

The Huf x Nagel collection features reversible satin bomber jackets, fleece hoodies, skateboard decks, six-panel hats, a blanket, pin set and tees, and prices range from $12 to $190. See some of our favorites above, and shop it all here.
