Model-turned-designer-turned-reality star, fashion mogul, and JustFab creative director Kimora Lee Simmons is leaving her Baby Phat days far, far behind her with KLS, her new "grown up" womenswear line that's ditching the wholesale route altogether and going straight to its very own shelves. Last month, the designer revealed to WWD that she was opening a boutique in Beverly Hills, and her very-YSL logo now marks the exact location of Simmons's brick-and-mortar venture.
Sandwiched between Theory and Intermix on North Beverly Drive, the luxe label (which will range from $500 to $2,400) is taking over the approximately 1,600-square-foot space formerly occupied by Aldo. Per WWD, the shop is opening this spring; stay tuned for the exact opening date and more.
