The annual Forbes "30 Under 30" list has been unveiled, and headlining the roster is Cali-based beauty vlogging millionaire Michelle Phan. Other hometown heroes include hat designer Janessa Leone and Racked regular/Beyoncé-beloved jeweler Amanda Thomas of Luv Aj.
Besides all three being 27 years old (this must be the magic number for success), what these girls have in common is that they're all self-made and were crazy-ambitious at a young age: Phan started writing her blog at just 15-years-old when blogs didn't really exist; Leone started her line with $10,000 she saved from her nanny job after graduating from UC San Diego; Thomas launched her line at 15 after a buyer at Fred Segal asked where she got her necklace and proceeded to buy her entire line. How's that for motivation?
