Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.
Celebrity stylist and fashion blogger Elshane has a resume that reads like a who's who of Hollywood. The LA-based creative chick has worked as an in-house stylist and PR pro for Diane von Furstenberg, styled looks for E! News and Fashion Police, and dressed stars like Zooey Deschanel, Rebel Wilson, Carly Rae Jepsen. Naturally, the non-traditional gal also loves styling her abode, which is just as cool and eclectic as her outfits. Here, Elshane shares her fave spot for colorful, boho-chic home decor pieces.
I swing by Roberta Roller Rabbit at the Brentwood Country Mart every so often to scoop up their latest home decor essentials. Their home section has influences from Turkey and Morocco, which can add the perfect splash of color to any indoor or outdoor entertaining space. I'm currently coveting their straw placemats lined in colored pom-poms. They're the perfect hosting set. I've been collecting all of the colors.
