Nine Zero One's relocated Melrose Place salon has been chopping and coloring its clientele's manes since the end of November, but because this is LA, the celeb-faved beauty spot made its official debut last week via a starry grand opening party. Located on the second floor of 8467 Melrose Place, the 2,600-square-foot space has a prime view of Connoisseur Antiques's former boutique (which has yet to reveal its new tenant).
In addition to its feminine and modern upstairs space—which will offer haircuts, coloring, and nail services—the West Hollywood salon also offers a 1,000-square-foot education academy in the back of the first floor, where 901's styling pros will teach group and one-on-one classes. Less than a mile away, the salon's old Westbourne Drive HQ is now Nine Zero One Too, a one-stop beauty bar that offers makeup applications, blowouts, braids, and more on-the-go prettification services. That's not all: the paparazzi-stalked salon has also gone digital with a new blog, Beauty Coach, which offers expert tips from stars (and #901girls) like Nina Dobrev and others.
Nine Zero One Melrose is open Tuesday from 10am to 6pm, Thursday through Friday from 10am to 9pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm. Closed Mondays.
