Vintage fashion fiends have some bargain-happy treasure hunting that comes at a sad cost. After five years on Beverly Boulevard (and three years on Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks), event-ready boutique Revival Vintage is closing its doors.
"My lease is up next month and I decided not to renew because I am a new mother of two," store owner (and former Diff'rent Strokes star) Nicole Swasey tells us. As part of her shop's ongoing customer loyalty sale (which is sadly now a store closing sale), Swasey is offering 70% off all merchandise and decor now through February 14th, which will be Revival's last day.
"I also work for the studios as an [assistant director] for twenty-plus years and it's become too much to juggle it all. I decided with my husband to enjoy a little time off and raise the kids and then maybe go back to being an [assistant director]," adds Swasey, who also I've enjoyed the thrill of the hunt with Revival, as it's in my blood. So, who knows what the next chapter may bring?"
