Back in Robertson Boulevard's much buzzier days, the not-so-sleepy shopping stretch enjoyed a heavy rotation of A-list to Z-list celebs seeking retail therapy at shops like Nanette Lepore, which is the latest luxe label to call it quits on the once-starry street. Beloved by celebs for her "artsy bohemian" cocktail dresses and vintage-inspired womenswear, the designer also shuttered her Melrose boutique back in 2009.

WWD notes that the NYC-based Lepore recently inked a deal with licensing and management company Bluestar, which promises to turn her eponymous contemporary line into a full-fledged lifestyle brand. Lepore's Robertson storefront (located next door to sequin-happy iiJin) shuttered in late fall, and we're told that she's "currently seeking a new LA location to bring her feminine flair to her favorite California girls." In the meantime, we'll keep eyeing the vacated storefront to see who snaps it up next; only time (and anonymous tips?) will tell.
