Now that our mercurial winter weather has returned to decidedly more acceptable temps, we can continue planning our poolside party outfits with the help of Sun Cali, the newest beachwear boutique to join our city's swimwear shopping scene. Already located in Denver, the brand quietly opened its first LA outpost on Robertson Boulevard few months back.
Located next door to Le Pain Quotidien and in the space formerly occupied by BraVada Athletica, the approximately 1,000-square-foot shop offers the brand's print-happy swimwear, apparel, resortwear, lingerie, and accessories inspired by European getaways like Italy, France, and Germany. The shop joins a host of sun-and-sand-ready brands on the sleepy retail stretch, like St. Tropez's Scalise, Australian-based Zimermann, Miami-bred OndadeMar and Kate Upton-backed LA line Beach Bunny.
