If your wallet can't wait for next weekend's conceptual bazaar Parachute Market to invade West Hollywood, here's some indie retail therapy over in Highland Park to add to your radar this week. On Saturday, seasonal pop-up marketplace Eastside Handmade returns to furniture fave SHOPCLASS its fifth installment of afternoon artisanal goods-filled shopping.
Taking place from 11am to 5pm, expect to shop over 40 local designers hawking handmade apparel, accessories, home goods, furniture, decor and more. Stylish standouts on the roster include earthy-meets-edgy gem makers like Chaparral Studio and Unique LA regular Alana Douvros, minimalist-cool jewelry by Delusions of Grandeur, hand-dyed textiles and bags by Le Renard, LA-inspired letterpressers Ink+Smog Editions, leather goods maker and vintage vendor Love and Arrow, art and accessories by Miriam Dema and more.
