SILVER LAKE—The Los Angeles County Store (4333 W Sunset Blvd) is all about kittens this Saturday. From 2 to 4pm, the store is hosting a pop-up kitten and shopping party with Anvil Handcrafted leather goods and Luxe Paws animal rescue organization. Everything you'll find will be made right here in LA, including the kittens which will be up for adoption. FAIRFAX—Actress Jaime King and Brownie Brittle are hosting a Cookies for Kids' bake sale at The Grove this Sunday from 1 to 4pm to raise awareness for pediatric cancer. The family-friendly fundraiser will feature face painting, story time and lots of cookies. Restaurants like Wolfgang Puck, Cavatina, Stella Barra and many more will be donating cookies for the event.
