As suspected, Aesop is indeed heading to West 3rd Street—but not where we guessed. Our first hunch was that the Aussie apothecary brand might take over Woodley & Bunny's vacated space, but a quick driveby yesterday revealed otherwise. Per the just-installed signage, the skincare label is moving into the spot formerly occupied by A Different Vibe salon (8368 West 3rd Street), located next door to Liberty Fairs' revolving pop-up shop.
That's not all: Staff at the DTLA shop tells us that the West 3rd Street boutique is expected to open in mid-November. After its Abbot Kinney, Downtown and under-construction Culver City locations, this will be Aesop's fourth standalone LA outpost.
