After its grand debut this summer, NY bazaar Artists & Fleas has definitely earned its keep on our best flea markets roster. The free outdoor event occurs every third weekend of the month and features a handful of eclectic vendors mixed with mouthwatering food trucks, aka the ideal way to spend a leisurely afternoon. While patrons will be treated to more of the same on September 20-21, A&F promises additional, community-driven bells and whistles this time around.

Taking place 11am to 6pm on both days, the Arts District affair will include a "Pup in the Pool" competition where "puppies get dressed up and get their polaroids snapped to win the title." (One winner will be crowned each day.) Sunday's flea will also offer a DIY butterfly preservation workshop hosted by Taxidermist Divya Anatharaman. Both days will feature live poetry writing by Brian Sonia Wallace and lawn games for the whole fam. Did we mention that there's free parking?
