Nudie Jeans, the Swedish import that's been known to lend Angelenos a helping hand with freebie fixes and spill-proof work wear, will soon bring their sustainable and organic selvedge merch to denim devotees in Downtown. The brand is transforming their existing showroom in the Historic Core into a full-fledged retail shop this fall, making it their second LA outpost after Melrose and their 20th location worldwide.
"We were drawn to the beautiful architecture, simmering resurgence and welcoming community spirit. Broadway's historic theaters felt like a natural neighbor for the brand," says North American Sales & Marketing Director Michael Irving. Dubbed the Repair Shop, the revamped 1,100-square-foot space is located just a block east from fellow Swedes Acne at very buzzing shopping stretch South Broadway. In addition to offering the eco-friendly brand's gratis denim repair services, the location will also offer Nudie's full men's and women's collections of responsibly-made jeans and apparel.
