Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Orange County-based sister duo Kalani and Oleema Miller are the ladies behind Mikoh swimwear brand. From bloggers to editors to Rihanna, their sizzling strappy suits have already garnered a cult-like following, but these ladies show no signs of slowing down. In fact, the stylish sisters made a splash at Miami Swim Week last month with their debut runway show featuring their 2015 collection filled with fantastic new colors, prints and more strap-happy goodness. When Kalani and Oleema aren't designing or hitting the beach, Intermix is their go-to spot for splurging on wardrobe must-haves.
One of our favorite LA shopping destinations is definitely Intermix. We love this store because it carries great basics and classic staples that you can build your wardrobe with and also special statement pieces that can take any outfit to the next level. Our favorite Intermix locations are at the Lumberyard in Malibu—we love that it's right across from the famed Malibu surf break—and at the Brentwood Country Mart, which has the perfect collection of shops that we can peruse for a bit of retail therapy. It's always really exciting to scout the latest Mikoh suits that they have in store, too.
