Beauty buffs will want to start planning a Newport Beach shopcation soon. Fashion Island has already scored a slew of stylish SoCal debuts (Asics, C. Wonder, Seafolly, to name a few), and the outdoor shopping center is adding yet another exclusive to its directory. This fall, titillating and edgy cosmetics brand Urban Decay is unleashing its first stand-alone retail and pampering experience at the outdoor shopping center, complete with a coffee bar and "dude station." Yup.
In addition to offering the NB-based makeup brand's editor-faved eyeshadow palettes and beauty bestsellers, the 1,000-square-foot flagship will house six makeup stations, a massive digital video wall and an interactive photo booth. Interior decor touches will include reclaimed wood flooring and a 100-inch custom chandelier, plus tech charging stations in that aforementioned UD version of a man cave. The store's slated to open across from Le Pain Quotidien near Macy's at the south end of Fashion Island.
Urban Decay will be open Monday to Friday from 10am to 9pm, Saturday from 1am to 7pm and Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
