Five-dollar-sign shopping center South Coast Plaza is no stranger to going under the knife. In addition nabbing Uniqlo's very first LA-area pop-up (and a full-fledged store in September!), a massive Scotch & Soda shop and Diptyque's SoCal debut, the ritzy retail hub's directory has also enjoyed a slew of high-fashion facelifts. After rolling out major makeovers at Zara, MaxMara, Chloé, the upscale mall will soon enjoy luxe lingerie brand La Perla's first concept boutique in the U.S.
Located on Level Two between the Jewel and Carousel Courts, the Cara-approved, label's upgraded shop will feature Italian-inspired interior touches that pay homage to their European heritage, plus an "ulta-feminine color palette from pale blue through dusky pink to daffodil yellow" and silk armchairs for weary shoppers. In addition to stocking La Perla's date night-worthy underpinnings, the store will carry the brand's swimwear, loungewear, bridal and ready-to-wear collections and their new made-to-measure line. The new location opens later this month, but SCP shoppers can hit up their temp store on Level 3.
