Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. Kimberley Gordon is the co-founder and creative designer behind LA knitwear brand Wildfox. The label's rad vintage-inspired pieces have garnered a massive following and an impressive celebrity fan base over the years and with good reason. From working it on the runway at New York Fashion Week to making a splash at Miami Swim Week to rolling out crazy-cool lookbooks every season, Gordon sure knows how to give the people what they want. In fact, the Wildfox team is gearing up to debut its first flagship store (yay!) this fall, right here in LA. In the meantime, Gordon reveals the Echo Park boutique that helps her perfect her gypset style.
I love shopping at Tavin in Echo Park. The owner was once a stylist so the vintage pieces she buys for the store are amazing. It's very gypsy, and gypsy is the thing right now. Wildfox's spring s015 collection is actually titled "She's A Gypsy."
