Back in April, we shared the news of Kinfolk Studios' massive plans for a men's boutique, bicycle shop and bar in Downtown's buzzing Broadway. Though we were crossing our fingers for that September opening, the NYC-based lifestyle brand tells us that due to construction delays, their West Coast flagship will instead open in spring 2015.
Located right beneath Acne Studios in the basement of the historic Eastern Columbia Building, the 10,000-square-foot space will offer the anti-materialist brand's bespoke bicycles and stylish sportswear-inspired men's merch. In addition to housing a fully-stocked boutique (which will also carry gent's grooming products and accessories), Kinfolk's DTLA digs will boast a full cocktail bar—similar to their multi-tasking retail/resto hangout in New York's Williamsburg—and an event space for hosting performances, art shows and more.
Excited for it? Check out their Big Apple and Tokyo locations for a taste of what to expect and stay tuned for more on their City of Angels outpost.
