If you dig MOVMT's made-from-plastic merch, make room in your eco-friendly closet for Faherty. Founded in New York by twins Mike and Alex Faherty (a former Ralph Lauren designer and a former private equity professional, respectively), the sustainable and stylish East Coast-based brand is making its LA debut today with a shop-in-shop at Fred Segal Man.
Comprised of flannel button-downs, basic tees, military-inspired parkas, ponchos, beach-friendly bottoms, swimwear and more ($59 to $375), the laid-back men's and women's line is crafted from organic cotton, recycled plastic bottles, true indigo dyes and more responsibly-manufactured fabrics. Mirroring the brand's NY store, the Fred Segal shop—which will stock the men's line only—will be decked out with whitewashed barnwood, bamboo touches, antique finds and more for a rustic beach feel. How very Cali.
