Aspiring PR powerhouses looking to live out their Hills and The City fantasies can now shed a single black tear. Ball-busting fashion publicist Kelly Cutrone has decided to permanently shut down the LA location of People's Revolution, the agency made famous by the hit MTV series and spinoff.
Cutrone—whose TV stints have also including starring roles on Bravo's Kell on Earth and The CW's America's Next Top Model—recently distributed a rather heartfelt e-mail to press: "In 1996 I opened People's Revolution in Los Angeles, California. Over the last 18 years People's has had quite a run! LA was our birthplace. With all of the changes in technology and our main focus in New York, I have decided not to renew our lease on 7005 Melrose. We are very interested in renting a house with a swimming pool as a possible option going forward so please do let us know if you know of anything."
Per her note, People's Revolution's New York office will live on. Current clients include LA's own Skingraft.
