Blind Barber and Baxter Finley will soon have some serious competition. Next month, a new men's grooming stop called Manly & Sons Barber Co. is taking over The Fretted Frog's former space at 1200 North Alvarado Street.
The Eastsider LA reports that the shop, run by a band of Portland barbers including the above Tony Pin of The Modern Man Barber Shop & Gentleman's Supply, strives to be "the Ace Hardware for men."
In addition to dapper cuts and shaves, Manly will carry "hair and skin products, grooming kits, suspenders, shoe laces, smart-phone cases and other accessories that right now would require visits to several stores." Stay tuned for more.
