Leather Pros Parabellum Set to Open First Flagship on Melrose

After first catching our eye with a cool Oliver Peoples collab back in 2012, Parabellum recently made news when the LA label became a 2013 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist and scored a spot on Anna Wintour's Fashion Fund series. Founders Jason Jones and Mike Feldman have more up their artisanal leather-making sleeves: they're set to unveil their very first flagship store on Melrose next month.

"We have an amazing roster of existing stockists that have supported the brand for a long time, but ultimately we need a venue where we can communicate our complete brand identity and offerings," Parabellum explains. "Of course, we wanted to plant our first flag in our own backyard. While we are an American Luxury brand, all of our product is handmade here, so Los Angeles is an imperative part of our identity."

Set to open on August 22, the brand will take over Civilianaire's former space at 8251 Melrose Avenue, right next door to Reformation and across from Paul Smith. The store will feature men's and women's luxury goods and accessories sourced from Bison leather.
