Free People Studio City is Becoming Bigger, Better, More Boho

The dust has now settled on Free People's massive new San Diego shop, which happens to narrowly outsize their largest LA boutique in Sherman Oaks. As if to rectify the SFV's loss of the Roomiest Big Box Hippie Haven Trophy, the boho retailer is giving their Studio City shop a major makeover—to the tune of 1,840 additional square feet.

In addition to doubling in size (it'll clock in at a total of 3,632 square feet), the Perfect Saturday haunt will be tricked out with an extended storefront, a brand new cash wrap and more fitting rooms. Like the new Fashion Valley location, Studio City's super-gypsified space will feature exposed white brick walls, wood accents and more merchandise offerings, including the brand's footwear, intimates and loungewear collections.

As is customary for the festivalgoer party throwers, Free People is toasting their revamped new space with a grand reopening bash on August 14. From 5pm to 8pm, hit up the Studio City shop to enjoy gratis bubbly, bites, live performances by Paris Carney and Lee DeWyze, photobooth action and much more.
