Congrats are in order for some of LA's best and brightest design stars. The CFDA has announced the newest names to join their by-membership-only roster of top global and Stateside fashion designers, and a handful of Angelenos have made the cut.
On the list are creative brothers Raan and Shea Parton of DTLA-based brand Apolis, known for its globally-minded men's merch. Also are on the lineup are Barbara McReynolds and Gai Gherardi of beloved summer sunnies shop l.a. Eyeworks, whose fashionable frames were recently featured in A+D's surf-inspired museum gala. There's also designer Cynthia Sakai of blogstar-backed luxe accoutrements line Vita Fede.
And last (but definitely not least), local bag maven (and Santa Monica bound!) Clare Vivier has also scored a coveted spot on the list for her colorful leather carryalls and accessories. To see the full list, click here.
