Earlier this year, Tarina Tarantino shared her business-boosting plans for Downtown with her seven-story creative hub, the Sparkle Factory. In addition to unveiling the totally revamped L.L. Burns Western Costume Company this summer, the LA creative maven is moving her Melrose Avenue boutique to her new DTLA flagship this fall.
As mentioned previously, her shop will take over the Sparkle Factory's second story, just above monochromatic mecca OAK NYC. Tarantino tells us her relocated flagship will stock her new jewelry collections, accessories, handbags, cosmetics and a curated selection of merch from local designers and artists. "[It will be] like shopping in a downtown loft, which will also reflect the evolution of the brand which turns 20 next year. [...] With neighbors like Acne Studios, Ace Hotel, Tanner Goods and Angelo Home, we are seeing the re-birth of LA retail in the place where it all began over 100 years ago and are excited to be part of it!"
To make the major move as painless as possible, the pink-tressed designer's unloading everything in her Melrose store starting Monday, July 21. Expect to snap up Tarantino's colorful accoutrements, makeup, accessories, store fixtures and more for 30 to 80% off until all merch is gone.
Into it? Check out the shop's Instagram here for a taste of what's in stock.
